This gathering is for people living in intentional communities and ecovillages in the Northern Rivers NSW and SE Queensland to come together and laugh, cry and discuss community living including issues most relevant to participants. It is also for people currently creating community or wanting to create community to learn from the wisdom of the region.
Co-hosted by the Ground Currumbin and the Global Ecovillage Network Australia it will mainly be a facilitated open forum weekend but will include games, Jason (Djalmbu) Hilder from University of Queensland presenting his latest research and Phd on communal living in Australia, Wroth Wall community Lawyer and tours of Currumbin Ecovillage (https://theecovillage.com.au/).
The weekend will start with a Friday night presentation and Q & A from the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) on what makes an Ecovillage?

The Global Ecovillage Network Australia is a volunteer network looking to grow with current members being Currumbin EcoVillage, Bruns Eco Village, Tasman EcoVillage and Narara EcoVillage with a member of Christie Walk, Adelaide also involved. GEN Australia is linked to the worldwide Global Ecovillage Network (GEN).
